Real life is so much more interesting and so much more bizarre than anything you can make up!

To be Found

they went down
with the fury of water and waves

how do we know they aren't still trapped down there?
just out of reach, waiting for the sun?

the water's so murky below
but breaking the surface it's crystal clear!

and who are we to say they're gone?
we were lost once
with misery deep as the ocean

then-

He found us!
struggling with the seaweed,
we lifted our eyes

to see a glimmer from above

to see a hand reaching out,
just a touch of one finger
and arms and legs were released from the tangle
of dark ocean around us

then, bursting through the hearts once dying

is His everlasting love

like wedding bells
and glimm'ring white pearls from shells of grey and muddy black

brave and gentle,
fierce and kind,

Oh Jesus, our savior

"Be still and know that I am God!
I will be honored by every nation.
I will be honored throughout the world."
Psalm 46:10

“Don’t frown, don’t be worried, don’t be unhappy. God is letting you discover Him. Meanwhile, let the days bring you what they will and don’t fuss or fret about who you are or what you are. Let the days come, the darkness and the light, and don’t concern yourself” (Robert Cormier).
